We know this building
The Orange County Convention Center is the second-largest convention facility in the United States. Two campuses, roughly seven million square feet, connected across International Drive. Exhibitors who have never been here underestimate it constantly.
Things that go wrong for out-of-town exhibit houses at OCCC:
- Wrong campus. West and North/South are separate buildings. A truck routed to the wrong one loses half a day.
- Marshalling yard timing. Trucks check into a yard and get called to the dock. If your carrier misses the window, your freight sits.
- Ceiling height and rigging. Hanging sign approvals and rigging points are venue-specific. Getting this wrong after your crate is already on the floor is expensive.
- Union labor rules. Knowing what your crew can and cannot touch is not something you want to learn on install day.
We are twenty minutes away. If something needs a person on site, a person gets on site.
What we rent for this show
Our focus for the Global Produce & Floral Show is island and large-format space, because that is what performs on a produce and floral floor.
Island exhibits, 20x20 and up. Four open sides, real product presence, and the vertical room for a hanging sign. From 20x20 up through 20x30, 20x40, 30x30, 30x40, 40x40 and beyond. See our island exhibits.
Peninsula and large inline. For end-cap positions and deeper inline spaces where you want more than a backwall.
10x20 inline. Well-built, properly lit, finished — not a pipe-and-drape afterthought.
Every rental includes the structure, graphics production and mounting, flooring, furniture, lighting, local delivery, install, and dismantle.
Freight you do not pay for
An exhibit that lives in Orlando does not accrue cross-country trucking. That is straightforward.
The part that gets overlooked: the convention center bills material handling by weight through the show's general service contractor. Every crate that crosses that dock gets weighed and billed per hundredweight. Heavier and farther means more, twice.
We want to be clear about scope. We do not provide material handling or electrical — those are ordered directly from the general service contractor appointed by IFPA. We are not able to bill them and we would not want to. What we influence is the input: an exhibit staged locally, packed efficiently, with graphics already mounted rather than crated separately.
Move-in, show days, move-out
Wednesday, October 14 — the show opens with the State of the Industry Keynote and education programming.
Thursday and Friday, October 15–16 — expo floor.
Two floor days. Your install has to be finished and clean before Thursday morning, and your dismantle happens in a crowded outbound window on Friday with a thousand other exhibitors doing the same thing.
Local crews matter more on the back end than the front. Move-out is where out-of-town labor gets expensive — crews on overtime, trucks waiting for a dock, and nobody local to solve it. See our labor-only install and dismantle service.

Yes. Warehouse, inventory, and installation crews are all local. Our exhibits are staged here and delivered across town to the convention center, not trucked in from another state.

Yes. Labor-only at the Orange County Convention Center is routine work for us, and it is where a local crew saves the most money — particularly on Friday move-out.
Do you order electrical or material handling for me?
No. Those are ordered from the show's general service contractor. We do not provide or bill them. We can tell you what to expect and how your build affects the weight you get charged on.
What is the largest booth you can build for this show?
We regularly handle 40x40 and larger island footprints, including double-deck structures where the show allows them and ceiling height permits.
How does OCCC move-in work?
Trucks check into a marshalling yard and get called to the dock in sequence. Missing your window means waiting. This is one of the specific things a local exhibit house manages for you.
